Made our annual pilgrimage to Walden today. Very beautiful. Today's theme : backlit leaves. They are so pretty and vividly verdant.
Ubiquitous cairn picture.
More flowers
Miscellaneous things:
Voigtlander is making a new folding medium format camera, the Bessa III. Expensive, but really cool. It shoots 6 by 6 or 6 by 7, which is also a nice touch.
linkage.
Of course it would probably make more sense to pick up an old Kodak folder or something used and cheap.
I hacked up a 120 spool to make a quick and dirty 35mm adapter. It's a bit silly to use 35mm in a medium format camera, but some people like the exposed sprocket holes. It does have some advantages, 35mm film is easier to get a hold of and offers some emulsions you cannot get in 120. Of course you would have to unload it in a changing bag since there is no way to rewind the film into the cassette. I'll try it out if I ever get stuff to develop film myself.
