How to title a photograph - I am guilty of pretty much all of these.

This Old Camera : off to an inauspicious start

So far I broke the roll of film in the Miranda when I tried to rewind it (I'll try to save the film via a changing bag later, but I don't have one here), and now I've frozen up the Mamiya/Sekor trying to shoot outside (I am hoping the mirror will return once it warms up...)

There are good reasons to try to keep exercising these cameras...

Update: local camera store saved the film in the Miranda (protip: you have to hold down the rewind button to rewind. Oops), and once the Mamiya warmed up I was able to encourage it to let the mirror down again.

This Old Camera

So I have managed one way or another to acquire a bevy of film cameras and feel bad that they sit around unused when most of them are perfectly usable shooters. None of them have working meters, and some of them have issues (only one usable shutter speed or only one aperture, for instance).

My plan is to put a roll through each of them and make a little write-up for each camera. I've probably bitten off more than I can chew.

There should be some pun here about going out on a limb or sub-limb-inal messaging or somesuch.
