I finished of the roll of film I started in Philly and shot another as well. I developed them but haven't made contact sheets or prints yet. Going to try to fit that in tomorrow, but I am pretty much busy from 7 AM until 9 PM on Wednesdays.

Back from the math conference. Made some more prints but I was about three minutes to late to get back to pick them up after they dried, so it will have to wait till tomorrow.

I do have an improved version of warning.

Here are the contact sheets from the roll of Kodak Tri-X 220. My exposures were a little erratic, some from not really being able to judge what my hand held meter is really reading, and partially from just guessing the exposures for some shots. I think all of them are printable, in fact I have made prints of two of them...





Man I love the look of medium format...

I am a little worried about the light leaks around a lot of the frames, not sure where that is coming from. Also sort of disappointed in the flare performance of the 75mm f/3.5 Yashinon lens, but it is probably 50 years old.

I know I know...Shame on me. Maybe life will slow down a bit and let me update more. But I doubt it.

I have been shooting a good bit, but mostly film. Here's some contact sheets:




Had some film touch on the reel, lost some nice flower shots. C'est la vie. Need to be more careful.



Developing film and making contact prints made me really realize how wonderful thumbnails are...

Spent a couple hours in the darkroom today.

Just to let everyone know, I am on Spring Break until the 22nd and don't have much internet access.

I am down in North Carolina visiting family. I have gotten to do some wine tasting which was fun.

I will be taking pictures, although it's been rainy and grey since Saturday, and looks like it will be tomorrow as well.

Man I have been shirking my photoblog duties. Well, posting at least.

I shot a roll yesterday and two rolls today and they are all developed. Hopefully have some contact sheets and prints up tomorrow.

Some photos coming soon will feature a day old lamb named Oreo (adorable), juggling, and other fun things.
