Comments: This lens labeled 3.5cm is a different (and much rarer - around 7400 were made) than the 35mm f/2.8 S non-AI. It is some what longer but otherwise looks very similar. I like the character of this lens, but for most people the 35mm f/2.8 is objectively 'better' and cheaper. I find it somewhat hard to focus, being wide and not too fast.
Here is the 3.5cm f/2.8 S compared with the later 35mm f/2.8 S, the longer front gives it away.
This is is available (very rarely) as a tick-marked lens.
