There's not actually a lot to say about this camera.   It's a classic, and it lives up to expectations.  Solidly built and capable of great photographs.  The viewfinder is a possible weak-point - there is a lot of vignetting, so it is hard to focus on the edges.  One nice thing is the film loading - you just slip the backing paper under a roller and then the camera automatically indexes the film - you don't need to match up arrows like most roll film cameras.

People pay too much for the Rollei name, but if you are going to get a Rolleiflex (and not a Rolleicord), this is the most cost effective version.

Viewing Lens: Heidosmat 75mm f/2.8
Taking Lens: Schneider-Kreuznach Xenotar 75mm f/3.5

Shutter speeds: 1 - 1/500 second plus bulb
Filter: Bayonet II i.e. B36
Close focus: 0.9 meters
Aperture range: f/3.5 - f/22
Aperture blades: 5 blades
Depth of field calculator. No IR index.

This lens is great, but a little prone to flare. I should really use a hood with it. I love the look of the images. Hate 5-bladed apertures though.
