This is probably my most used lens. It's a little grotesque at f/1.4, especially the out of focus areas, but at f/2.8 or so this lens is great. If you are only going to have one lens, this is not a bad choice.
The K and AI versions have a longer focus throw, but I think the AI-S versions is fine.
