Miranda DR 1.9

Camera: Miranda DR 1.9 circa 1962

Lens mount: Miranda bayonet (weird, external, four bladed), also has an internal screw mount, but it is not M42. Apparently it is 44mm?
Shutter: 1 - 1/500s plus bulb. High and low shutter speed dials.
Depth-of-Field Preview: n/a
Metering: n/a
ISO: has reminder dial for black and white film from 25 - 1600, color from 8 - 160.
Prisms/focusing aids: interchangeable prisms (via the sliding switch next to the rewind knob), central microprism
Self timer: n/a
Flash: no hotshoe, PC cord sockets, X-sync is a blazing 1/40
Film plane indicator: no

Comments: Shutter release button is on the front of the body instead of the top, it is weird and hard to get used to. Like my Leica IIIf, it's fun to watch as you wind, since everything round on the top plate spins! My version has been modified with a small sheet of metal on the front to keep ones finger from impeding the film counter, which is actually very nice. Finder is very dark compared to every other SLR I have used.

Manual: Buktus
