The 5.8cm f/1.4 S looks a lot like the 50mm f/1.4 S, especially the earlier samples with ribbed aperture rings:

Comments: This is an early F mount lens. The later 50mm f/1.4 S is much more common, cheaper, and a better performer. I think it is safe to say that is the better lens for most people unless you are a collector or like lenses with character like me.
